Fort Wayne’s housing market is so hot that our home sold in 7 hours! One of the two-do’s included with the agreement was replacing our heat pump. The service we received at Premier Mechanical was excellent!!!

This is a great company to do business with. I had an older furnance that other companies would look at and tell me just get a new one. Premiere knew how my furnace worked. They would tune it up and I never had any more problems with it. I won't use anyone else.

About Fort Wayne, IN - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Fort Wayne, Indiana serves as the seat of Allen County. It is situated in the northeastern portion of the state near the Ohio and Michigan borders. With nearly 266,000 residents as of 2017, this is the second largest city in Indiana by population. Fort Wayne was originally built by the U.S. Army in 1794, and over the years, manufacturing became the main staple to the city’s economy. Higher education is also prominent here, especially at Indiana University Fort Wayne, Purdue University Fort Wayne, Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana, and the Indiana Institute of Technology.

A major cultural hub in the region, there are many great things to see and do in Fort Wayne. There are several museums found here, including Science Central, the Fort Wayne Museum, and the History Center. The Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo is arguably the most popular destination for families with little ones, and there are plenty of parks and natural areas to explore. Many visitors enjoy a stroll through the Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory, and numerous artistic performances are held each year at The Embassy Theatre.

The climate of Fort Wayne is humid continental in nature, so residents will experience distinct seasons. Winter weather offers some of the most extreme conditions, as temperatures only reach average highs of about 32 degrees Fahrenheit in January. While Fort Wayne may not receive lake effect levels of snow, the region does average about 34 inches of total accumulation each year, so residents should prepare their homes in advance. A reliable gas or electric furnace system with a high AFUE rating is a wise investment.

Summer weather in Fort Wayne is hot and humid, and thermostat readings often reach into the 80s. Rain and storms are also common during this time of the year, which can make the air feel muggy and oppressive. There are many ways for Fort Wayne residents to keep their homes cool throughout the season, but central air conditioning installation is the most efficient. Not only do these units provide the most efficient and widespread cooling, but they are also user-friendly and work to purify indoor air.
